Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018: Chef Demo: New Menu Items

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

Chef Billy will show students the new food options for the spring semester.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018: Spirit Lifter: New Year, New You

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Eastway Cafe, Kent Market 2, & Prentice

Stations in each location will have food related to new year resolutions and healthy food selections.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018: Pledging Sustainability

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Kent Market 2

Students will pledge to ensure their oath towards a "green" lifestyle and continuing to make environmentally friendly choices.

 

Monday, Jan. 29, 2018: Dine with the Director: Hot Chocolate Bar

Time & Location: 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. at Eastway Lounge

Students can enjoy free hot chocolate with unlimited toppings as they talk with our Director.

 

February

Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018: Super Bowl Chef Demo

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Kent Market 2

Our chefs will go head-to-head and compete in the ultimate Super Bowl cook-off! 

 

Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018: Spirit Lifter: Mardi Gras

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Kent Market 2

Stations in Kent Market 2 will offer various food selections related to Mardi Gras

 

Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018: Dine with the Director: Voting Party

Time & Location: 12 - 1 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

Students will have the chance to vote on names for the new stations coming to Eastway in Fall 2018!

 

Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018: Chinese New Year

Time & Location: 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

We will serve various Chinese inspired menu items for dinner at each station in Eastway as the hall is decorated to represent the Chinese New Year holiday.

 

Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018: Dine with the Director: Hot Cocoa Bar

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Rosie's

We will provide hot chocolate and an unlimited toppings bar for students to add to their beverage while meeting with our Director.

 

March

Monday, Mar. 5, 2018: Dine with the Director: Mocktail Monday

Time & Location: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

Students can enjoy free mocktails as they meet our Director.

 

Wednesday, Mar. 7, 2018:  Fresh Food Company Chef Demo

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

Our chefs will prepare various foods to give students a taste of the Fresh Food Company coming to Eastway Cafe Fall 2018! 

 

Wednesday, Mar. 14, 2018:  Pi Day Spirit Lifter

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Kent Market 2

Chef Billy will be passing out pie samplings to students on Pi Day.

 

Wednesday, Mar. 14, 2018: VIP Event - Eastway Station Name Reveal

Time & Location: 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Eastway - East Club

Join us for this exclusive VIP event at Eastway for an exquisite array of food and a decadent dining experience! We will also reveal station names picked by students for the Fresh Food Company coming Fall 2018! 

April

Friday, Apr. 6, 2018: Spirit Lifter: Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Kent Market 2 & Eastway Cafe

Stations in both locations will offer various food selections for the Indians home opener.

 

Thursday, Apr. 11, 2018: All-You-Care-To-Eat Demo Day

Time & Location: All Day at Eastway Cafe

Join us as Eastway Cafe transforms into an All-You-Care-To-Eat Dining Hall for the day! Purchase your All-Day Pass at any cashier station in Eastway Cafe. The pass will be loaded onto your FLASHcard for you to use Wednesday, Apr. 11. If you prefer not to purchase an all-day pass, door rates will be available that day as you enter Eastway Café.

 

Thursday, Apr. 12, 2018: Chef Demo: National Grilled Cheese Day

Time & Location: 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Kent Market 2

Chef Billy will demonstrate how to make gourmet grilled cheese for National Grilled Cheese Day.

 

Tuesday, Apr. 24, 2018: Dine with the Director: Donut Miss Breakfast!

Time & Location: 10-11 a.m. at University Library

We will be handing out donuts and coffee to students meeting with our Director.

 

Wednesday, Apr. 25, 2018: Bistro Night - Unload Your Dining Dollars

Time & Location: 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

We will serve luxury menu items including seafood and steak for dinner at each station. Students will get the chance to spend their excess dining dollars.

Monday, May 7, 2018: Pancakes with the Provost

Time & Location: 10:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. at Eastway Cafe

Provost will be serving pancakes and other breakfast items to students during finals week.
