Like many fashion students, senior merchandiser Taylor West loves to explore fun and creative ideas. West recently started IVE Boutique (pronounced like Ivy), an online shop geared towards stylish, edgy women, who love to express themselves through fashion and accessories.

On Monday, December 3, senior design student Symone Baskerville held the soft opening of her store, Kent Fabrics, in the popular shopping area of downtown Kent. Located at 175 E. Erie Street, her shop offers high-quality fabric within walking distance from the Fashion School.

The Fashion School student organization, Dress Up for Downs, held their end of the semester fashion show, “Picture Perfect” on Saturday, November 17, in the Rockwell Auditorium and raised over $3,200 for the northeast Ohio organization, The Up Side of Downs.
