Alberto Francini

Alberto Francini is an Architect and holds a PhD in Urban Planning and Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and Pratt Institute of New York. He worked with Giuliano Fiorenzoli in New York and later with Massimiliano Fuksas in Rome. In 2000 he founded Metrogramma, together with Andrea Boschetti, a professional office of architecture and urban planning with works in Italy, China, and Russia. Their studio is currently responsible for developing prestigious projects of architecture and urban planning in Italy and abroad. He has taught at the Politecnico di Milano, at Università di Ferrara and at South Ural State University in Chelyabinsk, Russia. He is currently teaching architecture studio at Kent State University, Florence Program.
