Doris Kessenich

Doris Kessenich completed her studies in Experimental Psychology at the University of Florence, having done research on face recognition. (T. Marzi, F. Giovannelli, D. Kessenich, et al. She continued her studies with a master in Forensic Sciences at the University of Rome.  She works at the Institute of Forensic Psychology in Florence and she has been a member of the Italian Society of Criminology since 2011. Doris Kessenich joined Kent State University in 2015 teaching a course on Forensic Psychology. She is a cognitive behavioral psychologist in training, and specializes in eating disorders. Since 2012 she has been conducting mindful eating groups at “Villa dei Pini” (psychiatric clinic) where she applies the MB-Eat program in order to improve and prevent obesity and impulsive eating.
