experience and adventure

Don't rule out a study-away experience. If you start planning now, you can find ways to fund a trip. Start thinking about internship opportunities, both near and far.

Think Globally

  • The Kent State University National Student Exchange program (NSE) offers excellent educational adventures! You will gain new and different academic and social experiences, while boosting your résumé.
  • It’s not too early to start thinking about – and saving for – a study abroad experience through Kent State. It’s an essential part of some programs and can be an enriching experience for any student, while also making you more marketable to future employers.

  • Explore the numerous opportunities for direct learning through experiential education, volunteer service, internships, research and education abroad.

  • Internships are a great way to get practical work experience, possibly earn money and college credit, obtain a full-time position after graduation, and build a resume before you even graduate. The Career Services Center helps students with internship options.
