Health Informatics is a multi-disciplinary field focused on design, development, adoption and application of digital health technologies, explores how to use data, information and knowledge to improve health and health care.

Research on the healthcare ecosystem considers health care across the lifespan from children to older adults, sociocultural context of health, and the physical and social environmental influences on health.
