Eunice Reyes serves as the Graduate Assistant for Kent State University's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning Plus (LGBTQ+) Center. Her primary roles include: facilitating the Center's social groups, Q'ommunity and QTPOC; serving as the liaison for the LGBTQA living Learning Program; and assisting with the creation, coordination, and implementation of programs and initiatives.
Eunice is an alum of KSU and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in May 2019. She is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Kent. Prior to this role, Eunice served as the GA for the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Some of the other places she worked in the past include Case Western Reserve University's Office of Residence Life, NEOMED's College of Graduate Studies, and Kent State's College of Communication and Information. Regardless of where she is, Eunice strives to foster an inclusive and equitable environment that empowers students to be their most authentic selves.
When Eunice isn't working or in class, she is probably painting, writing, watching Netflix, napping, or spending time with family and friends. She's grateful for the opportunity to work in the LGBTQ+ Center and is excited to connect with students!
