After graduating from Kent State in 2019, Huntsman served as a Carnegie-Knight News21 Fellow at Arizona State’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, where she traveled the country reporting on natural disaster recovery. There, she co-hosted and produced an award-winning podcast, “State of Emergency,” and her reporting was published in The New York Times and Associated Press, among other national outlets.
