To encourage local high school girls to pursue STEM fields, Kent State University at Trumbull is holding its first-ever "Girls in STEM Trumbull County (TC) summer camp, Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15.

On Wednesday, May 2, Trumbull Career & Technical Center (TCTC) celebrated more than 20 senior students with confirmed plans to attend either Kent State or Kent State University at Trumbull this fall.
Upon graduation, TCTC encourages students to choose an "E" for Enrollment, Employment or Enlistment. More than 60 soon-to-be graduates signed up to participate in one of three signing days.
Kent State University at Trumbull proudly announces Diane Sauer, president and owner of Diane Sauer Chevrolet, Inc., as its 2018 Spring Commencement speaker. The university expects a large turnout from its more than 200 graduating students. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 6 p.m. in Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. in Warren.
Sauer was born and raised in Coldwater, Ohio and graduated from Coldwater High School. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from The Ohio State University.
In anticipation of National Small Business Week (April 29-May 5), eight young entrepreneurs will gather and discuss challenges and successes as they continue to establish their businesses in the Mahoning Valley. The “Young Entrepreneurs Roundtable,” presented by Kent State University at Trumbull and The Business Journal, will be held on Thursday, April 26 in the Kent State Trumbull Auditorium.

Kent State University at Trumbull’s Counseling Services and Psychology Club are encouraging students to follow the old adage, “stop and smell the roses.” Beginning Wednesday, March 14, “Flashes of Mindfulness” posters and mindfulness stations will be popping up around campus to remind students to slow down, pay attention, and be aware.
