In compliance with new state laws and federal executive orders, Kent State closed the LGBTQ+ Center, Women's Center and Student Multicultural Center effective June 27, 2025.
All of our students are still valued here. We remain committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students are respected, supported and treated with kindness. This commitment will not change. We are here for you, and we look forward to working with you to ensure our community remains welcoming for all.
Although the centers have closed, support services and resources for students remain available through alternative avenues. Additionally, essential resources for mental health, wellness and basic needs remain fully available.
