Shellie Warino, M.Ed., R.T. (R) (T)

I am the Program Director for the radiation therapy program at Kent State University Salem Campus. Previously I worked as the clinical coordinator for the radiation therapy program and as a radiographer and radiation therapist at the  Mercy Health system in Youngstown, Ohio.

I completed my radiography certificate at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio and my radiation therapy certificate at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh.  I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in applied science from Youngstown State University and completed my master’s degree in health education at Kent State University. In addition, I completed a post master’s certificate in Higher Education in Community College Leadership at Kent State University. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Health Education and Promotion at Kent State University. 

I am a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technology (ASRT), the Ohio Society of Radiologic Technology, a site visitor for the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, and have presented on the local, state and national levels.
