Kent East Liverpool Holds Nursing Pinning Ceremony

Kent State University at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 9, during which 19 students were recognized for receiving degrees through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.

Janet Peterson, interim director of the ADN program, presented the Ohio Nurses Association District 3 Lori Grenich Student Nurse Award to Amelia Oaks, recognizing excellence in clinical nursing and professional awareness.

Summer Black received the ADN academic award and Zachary Talbott received the ADN service award.

The Student Nurses Association officers included Talbott, Black, Amber Darocha and Wendy Walker.
