Top Photos of the Week of 2019

There were so many great photos from 2019. As we took a deeper look at the images from last year, a few stood out as the favorites.

A day in the life of our Kent State students.

Take a look back at your favorite five Photos of the Week of 2019 based on engagement across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

1. For the first time, we had a little fun with the Photo of the Week and actually showcased a timelapse. This timelapse showcased last year’s BlastOff festivities in August, where students had a chance to learn about Kent State’s 300 + student groups in 27 seconds.

2. The year's first significant snowfall blanketed the Kent Campus just before the start of the spring semester.

4. The Kent State football team took back the Wagon Wheel after a victory over the University of Akron! The win, which evened up the all-time series against our rival, also led the Golden Flashes to the top of the Mid-American Conference standings.

5. Flash got so excited about the Kent State football team being bowl eligible, he needed a moment to cool off. The Golden Flashes ended up reaching (and winning!) the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl in Frisco, Texas.

We also broke down the top Photos of the Week by month just for good measure.
