Kent State was the sole university in the U.S. to receive the 2022 Senator Paul Simon Award. This honor highlights Kent State’s efforts to integrate international education into all facets of the university.

 

In the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, LeBron James competed for Kent State’s I Promise Scholars, a program that provides higher education opportunities for underserved populations in Northeast Ohio. Our announcement about this event was well-loved on Facebook.

 

Twitter

The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education granted Kent State R1 status, declaring the university as one of the nation’s elite research institutions. This is the highest recognition a doctoral university can receive!
