The Kent State University’s Didactic Program in Dietetics Mission is to provide students with a broad general education with a strong foundation in nutrition/dietetics and the sciences. The emphasis will be on providing a program that integrates theory, research, and application of knowledge to the profession of dietetics resulting in successful students and graduates for all backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, national origin, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, size, socioeconomic status, and age.
Goal #1 – To prepare individuals to become registered dietitians through the combination of their undergraduate degree program followed by successful completion of a supervised practice experience and the registration examination.
Objective
During an Information Session with the PTA Program Director you can gain valuable information about the admissions process to the program, course transfers from another institution, progress towards completing the PTA degree program, and personal attention to questions you may have regarding admissions and the PTA program overall. At this time the PTA Program at Kent State University Ashtabula and East Liverpool Information Sessions are moving to one-on-one appointments with the Program Director, Tiffany Kiphart.
The Corporate Hall of Fame Award is presented to a company or organization that has supported the College of Aeronautics and Engineering by providing funding for new technology, capital projects and college expansion, and student scholarship.
The Van Deusen Award is presented to an individual who is an alumnus or friend of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering.
They have made a significant contribution to the college and its programs in the form of financial investment, time serving on a committee, or service as a member of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering Advisory Council.
Kent State University offers two different courses designed to meet many of the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCPT) competency requirements for the foreign trained physical therapist seeking licensure in the United States as a physical therapist assistant or physical therapist. These 5-week courses are offered three times per year (one time per semester) on two different campuses.
