KENT, OH – The Kent State University Museum is thrilled to announce its upcoming symposium, convened in conjunction with the exhibition “TEXTURES: the history and art of Black hair,” taking place April 14-15 at the KSU Museum. Kent State Trumbull's Veterinary Technology Student Club (VTSC) kicked off National Pet Month by committing more than $2,000 in donations to three local animal rescue shelters and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to support pet owners in Ukraine. Alicia Costello is making the rounds of Northeast Ohio. As an upperclassman who was born in the Sandy Valley area, she now resides in Canton, and commutes to the Kent State Salem and Stark campuses regularly to attend class. Daniela Popescu, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor at Kent State University Geauga Campus, in the Biological Sciences Department, has earned three awards from the university’s Center of Teaching and Learning (CTL). During the fall 2021 semester, she medalled at the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
