Meghan Factor-Page is the assistant director of Kent State of Well-being where she helps ensure students are getting relevant information so they can take care of themselves and get the wellness resources they need. Factor-Page started working full-time at Kent State in 2009. She had an on-campus job as a student, and then also as a grad assistant for the office of Student Success Programs. School of Theatre and Dance MFA lighting design and technology student Jaemin Park is working as a guest lighting designer for the production of "Passage" at Cleveland Play House,  under the mentorship of Jakyung C. Seo, associate professor of lighting design. While Seo has previously designed two productions with CWRU/CPH, this is the first time a current MFA student has worked with the program. Lake County Alumni Chapter Botanical Garden Tour

Join the Lake County and Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapters as we visit the Cleveland Botanical Garden on Saturday, May 14 at noon. The Cleveland Botanical Garden is a lush, beautiful and peaceful 10-acre urban sanctuary. The Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse offers visitors a glimpse of two worlds: one half is dedicated to the deserts of Madagascar and the other replicates a Costa Rican rainforest. Outside, walk the grounds and take in the Japanese, herb, rose and topiary gardens. A gift shop and cafeteria are on site.

This summer, Kent State’s Glauser School of Music to offer three intensive workshops focussed on Orff, Jazz and Dalcroze. The workshops are part of the School of Music’s and Music Education Division’s continued commitment to providing accessible professional development opportunities for educators across the country.
