In furtherance of the mission of the university to provide a foundation and support for research and collaboration, the division of research and sponsored programs shall serve as the coordinating office for sponsored programs administration, research compliance, and technology commercialization
  2. The vice president for research and sponsored programs is responsible for developing and implementing policies and practices in furtherance of the university’s research mission and strategic plan.
