Meet Heather Thrush, a nontraditional student majoring in psychology at Kent State University at Geauga, working to minimize the stigma of mental health care. Kent State Board of Trustees Approve Two New CCI Majors
The Kent State University Board of Trustees approved the establishment of four new majors during its regular quarterly meeting held March 6 on the Kent Campus. Two of the majors are housed in CCI, including a pathway to a degree for media students who have amassed credits but have not completed their current program, as well as continuing education opportunities for high school teachers who are responsible for teaching and advising an array of student media content.
Laney Mikes, a Kent State University first-year student majoring in nursing, and Maddy Mika a senior majoring in marketing at the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, served as co-chairs for the Annual Delta Zeta Lip Sync, a philanthropic event that raises money for children with speech and hearing impairments.
