The DI HUB houses a number of spaces dedicated to research and academic activities including the DI Theatre/Auditorium, DI Studio Classroom, Innovation Teaching Kitchen, Spark_Lab, and DI Gallery.
Collaboration across specialties: it’s part of what sets us apart as an entity of a state university and we love the perks and new research opportunities that it presents. The 2023 Special Olympics of Ohio Summer Games took place June 23 - 25, and this year, KSUCPM students and faculty were onsite proudly serving the community and representing the state’s only podiatric medical school. Dr. Rachel Johnson, Associate Professor in the Division of Clinical Sciences, led several student volunteers ranging from 2nd to 4th years to The Ohio State University where they performed 250 foot screenings. The Reactor Shops & Labs are a series of maker environments located inside the DI HUB that facilitate the Design Innovation Initiative’s conceptual modes of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
This suite in the DI HUB constitutes an entrepreneurship zone including LaunchNET, the i3 Lab, and the inspirationally situated Seminar Room overlooking the Spark_Lab and out onto the May 4 Commons.
