The Kent State University Women’s Center kicked off the first annual G.E.A.R. Awards this semester. The G.E.A.R. Awards stands for Gender, Equity, Advocacy and Representation. When do I get my class schedule?
When students attend DKS, they meet with an Academic Advisor as part of the program. During this meeting, the Advisor will review requirements for your major and any academic credit you have completed, like college credit plus classes, AP credit and placement test scores. Students attend this appointment on their own. Once you complete this advising appointment, you will leave with your class schedule for the upcoming semester. Your Academic Advisor will also provide their contact information if you have any questions.
