A ceremony to celebrate Kent State's designation as a Tree Campus USA for the third consecutive year will take place on April 28 at 2 p.m. in front on Engleman Hall. Kent State University Assistant Professor Don Coates and his students are researching the use of rechargeable batteries for powering a vehicle. But their research is far from theoretical.
