Slashed Courses

Slashed courses allow students at different academic levels (e.g., undergraduate, master’s, doctoral) to take a course together. These are always within the same discipline and are scheduled to be taught simultaneously by the same instructor.

Cross-Listed Courses

Cross-listed courses are single courses offered jointly by two departments or schools, typically to support interdisciplinary topics. Although students can only register for one version, both courses are taught at the same time, in the same location, and by the same instructor(s).
