Thank you for comprehensively and thoughtfully considering the five models of college reorganization presented to you six weeks ago. The time you took to share your feedback (701 unique survey responses), and the tremendous consultation the Faculty Advisory Committees (FAC) and College Advisory Committees (CAC) did so thoroughly and carefully (more than 60 consultation documents), presented clear paths for opportunities to move forward. Bunnies and Brews
Are you ready for Kent State’s biggest eggs-travaganza? Our third annual glow-in-the-dark egg hunt is bigger than ever with a new location! The MACC will go from hoops to hops with thousands of eggs waiting to be discovered on the basketball court. Everybunny will gather a dozen glowing eggs and discover if they’ve chosen any that contain a golden ticket to an amazing prize, all the while enjoying an adults-only dessert reception.
Two drink tickets are included, with additional alcoholic drinks available for purchase. Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend.
Golden Flash Film Festival
Join us for an enchanting evening that celebrates the talent and creativity of Kent State’s emerging filmmakers. This film screening blends the excitement of an indie festival with the welcoming spirit of our campus community. Before the screening, enjoy an opening reception with refreshments and dessert, and wine during intermission. The event will showcase a curated selection of five short films, documentaries and narratives from Kent State students and alumni.
Alumni Matinee Featuring “The Wiz”
Join us for an amazing student performance of “The Wiz,” directed by 2024-25 Roe Green Visiting Director Ansley Valentine. Lunch begins at 12:30 p.m. in the center’s Erdmann-Zucchero Theatre. At 2 p.m., witness a beloved family-friendly Broadway gem that infuses L. Frank Baum’s "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" with a dazzling mix of rock, gospel and soul music.
