Academic STARS Summer Institute
Thank you for your interest with the 2015 Academic S.T.A.R.S Summer Institute. Please fill out the entire application, incomplete applications will not be considered. All applications and application materials must be submitted by Feb. 27 by 5 p.m.
Application
Please submit:
1. Complete Electronic Application
2. 3 sealed letters of recommendation
3. Personal Sketch:
Please write a one-page summary of items of personal interest that will help other students, faculty and staff get to know you. Please include:
- Academic background
- Special interests and hobbies
- Extracurricular and volunteer activities
- Future plans
4. Updated Resume

2015 Kupita Transiciones Orientation Program: Leader & Guide Application
Thank you for your interest with the Kupita Transiciones Orientation Program! Starting this year K/T Mentors will be known as K/T Leaders and K/T Support Staff will be known as K/T Guides. Please read the following information and complete the Electronic Application.
K/T Leaders
Serves as mentors to students for the four-day orientation and throughout the school year
To be a K/T Leader a student should:
- Be at least a Junior or Senior
- Have a GPA 2.75 or higher
K/T Guides
Provides logistical support for program to ensure student success for the duration of the program
To be a K/T Guide a student should:
- Be at least a Sophomore, Junior or Senior
- Have a GPA 2.5 or higher
Important Dates
- Last day to apply: Feb. 27
- Interviews will take place from March 16-20
- Selection of Kupita Transiciones Leaders & Guides will take place April 1
- Kupita Transiciones Orientation: Aug. 24-27
