Kent State University junior Rachel Stypinski won the all-around title with a 39.500 to lead the Golden Flashes at the 2017 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Gymnastics Championships held March 18 at the Stroh Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. Kent State posted a 194.850 team score to finish sixth. The Kent State University Police Department was recently reaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The recognition comes after a comprehensive review of the agency and marks the eighth time the department has received the accreditation award. For the fifth time, the department also received the designation of Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation with Excellence. Last month, Kent State University at Salem’s Communiversity Choir celebrated its 25th anniversary during an annual holiday concert that featured the blended voices of Kent State students, faculty and community members.
