Gov. John Kasich has appointed Jessica Peck of Valley City, Ohio, to a two-year term as a graduate student trustee of the Kent State University Board of Trustees. Peck’s term began on July 14, 2017, and ends May 16, 2019.

Kent State University’s College of Business Administration students were recently given a chance to participate in the search for the university’s new investment advisor.

The university’s Division of Finance and Administration was conducting a search for a new investment advisor, who will handle the day-to-day investment decisions of the university.

For the third consecutive year, five Kent State University teams received NCAA Public Recognition Awards for outstanding academic performance, the most by any Mid-American Conference (MAC) institution. Six Golden Flashes’ programs ranked No. 1 among MAC teams.
