Kent State University is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Wadsworth-Booth as the director of the Kent State University Press.

Wadsworth-Booth, formerly the director of the Duquesne University Press in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, begins her duties on Sept. 11.

Kent State University’s College of Communication and Information Global Initiatives Office is launching World Class, a new podcast focused on fostering interesting global conversations within the College of Communication and Information and across the Kent State community.

The Kent State Faculty/Staff Bowling League is now accepting new teams, members and substitute bowlers. Bowlers compete weekly on Monday evenings at 6:20 p.m. at Spins Bowl Kent (formerly Bill White’s Twinstar Lanes) on state Rt. 59 in Kent.

The Faculty/Staff Bowling League is open to all full-time, part-time and retired employees, as well as their families and friends.

The 2017-2018 Kent State bowling season begins Sept. 18 and continues through April 9, 2018. The cost is $14 a week.
