JMC’s photojournalism program welcomed students, faculty and staff to its annual Freshman Welcome and Photography Exhibit on Wednesday Sept. 24, 2014.

The exhibit, located in the third floor Franklin Exhibit Space, honors photojournalism students for their achievements from 2013 and 2014.

This year, photojournalism students were recognized in several collegiate and professional regional, national and international competitions.

A civil rights exhibit created by JMC Professor Ann Schierhorn and featuring photography by Director of Photojournalism David LaBelle has won a national Award of Merit from the American Association for State and Local History.
