Welcome back, Golden Flashes! The 2019 Fall Semester is officially in full swing and we are excited to see all the new and returning Flashes on campus. We are especially excited for this semester as we begin our new social media blog. So this week, we’d like to go back to revisit the very first week of the semester, KSU Kickoff in particular.
From residence hall move-in to BlastOff, and everything in between, the social media team was there to give you an inside look at all of the activities through our Instagram and Snapchat stories. Take a look at this video highlighting KSU Kickoff!
Leading up to move-in day, we partnered with Residence Services to highlight the halls on campus. You may have even seen our stories on Snapchat and Instagram touring the buildings two weeks before the students filled the halls and again on move-in day to feature all the excitement! And did you see the Snapchat geofilters for the various KSU Kickoff events? (If you didn’t, here’s a friendly reminder to keep an eye out for our geofilters during events throughout the year.)
The social media team also joined forces with The Office of Student Success Programs (SSP) to host a social media contest through Snapchat. For this contest, we asked students to identify different locations around campus for a chance to win a prize pack sponsored by various departments around campus.
