During this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign, we invite you to join Chris Wick in support of our new Poetry Makerspace.

The Traveling Stanzas Poetry Makerspace is a completely refurbished, recreational vehicle donated to the Wick Poetry Center by WKSU.

Chris Wick, son of Wick Poetry Center co-founder Walter Wick, has generously donated $15,000 to support the ongoing development and programming needs of the Makerspace.
Poetry Mobile Makerspace
The Traveling Stanzas Poetry Makerspace will be the first of its kind in the country and serve as a mobile, interactive exhibit, showcasing the creative works of our diverse and vibrant community. This innovative Poetry Makerspace will give our Traveling Stanzas program wheels and bring our digital expressive writing tools and poetry activities to a diverse range of venues throughout our community, such as schools, libraries, hospitals and community centers.

Participants of all ages can engage with creative writing prompts either inside the Makerspace or at creative stations and kiosks alongside the bus. After a decade of successful, award-winning Traveling Stanzas community outreach, the Wick Poetry Center is thrilled to increase accessibility to our poetry activities and programming.

Please join Chris Wick during the 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign to support the Traveling Stanzas Poetry Makerspace. All gifts are matched by Chris Wick's generous pledge.
