Position:

I am the Graduate Assistant for the Women's Center. Also, I am an international graduate student majoring in public health with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences. 

Experience:

In the past I have worked as a community health worker for a non-profit called Niramaya Health Foundation in Mumbai, India. I specifically worked on their Anemia Prevention and Control and Maternal and Child Care program. I also have experience working at a hospital as an intern in the Cardiology department. As an intern at the Women's Center I specifically worked on the health and well-being initiatives like Days for Girls, mammograms and yoga. This Summer I worked at Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta as a Summer Programming Intern. Apart from executing programs, my work involved evaluation and assessment of the programs. I also acted as a mentor to the girls.
