Women’s Center Internship Program
The Women's Center Internship Program is open to undergraduate and graduate-level students. The internship program will provide students with hands-on experience in a supportive environment and can be adjusted to meet their academic focus. Students will gain experience in social justice issues related to women’s equity, programming, leadership, health and well-being, and marketing.
Internship opportunities include (but aren’t limited to):
Women’s Leadership – Assist with the development and facilitation of our Women’s Empowerment workshop series, help with the development of our Peer Educator Program and assist with our Women’s Leadership Program.
Marketing and public relations (social media, web-based and written communication) – Plan and coordinate the Women’s Center social media accounts, e-newsletters and all other communications.
Graphic design – Develop all the marketing materials for the Women’s Center.
Internship Program Requirements:
- 10 hours a week
- Doesn’t have to be for credit (but can be)
- Must commit to a whole semester
