In this workshop, we will explore how you can utilize game-design elements in a college classroom. We will discuss why games are an effective means of supporting student learning and consider approaches, both large and small, that can transform your classroom into a playful space for discovery. Please come prepared to have fun!

The Center for Teaching and Learning highlights the work of our eight Teaching Scholars in this special event. The Teaching Scholars will present the results of their Scholarship of Teaching and Learning research projects at a colloquium that will include appetizers to share while learning about each Scholars experiences.

In this session, we will provide a demonstration and overview of ChatGPT and discuss proactive strategies that you can use to assess student learning.
