WHAT TO EXPECT:
Why attend? Think about trying to achieve one or more of these goals:
- Ask specific questions about the type of classes associated with the program
- Find out more about career paths associated with particular program
- Inquire career development opportunities (internships, professional organizations, etc.)
- Identify any particular requirements to get into the program
- Expand your professional network and build mutually beneficial professional relationships
- Broaden your horizons to consider career possibilities outside those commonly associated with your major
HOW IT WORKS:
Virtual fairs in Handshake provide you the opportunity to participate in Group Sessions:
- Multiple students can attend
- 30 minutes each; will run each half-hour, daily between 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (last session at 3:30 p.m.)
- Great for learning more about the program, major, minor, etc. Ask about specific internships or possible careers associated with particular majors/minors
