The Portage County Community Health Assessment Partnership, with assistance from the Center for Public Policy and Health, has developed a draft report based on a recently completed comprehensive health assessment process for Portage County. Public comments on the document are welcome and encouraged.

LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT FINANCE
The Center for Public Policy and Health (CPPH) has developed and released two information sheets related to local health department finances in Ohio. The information sheets resulted from research funded by the Marion Public Health that focused on financial issues related to health department consolidation in Ohio.

The first information sheet focuses on how consolidated LHDs in Ohio share the cost of public health services between the parties to the consolidations:
