Faculty Club

A Faculty Club is typically a place where faculty and university members gather for formal or informal meetings, dinners and social events throughout the year. Kent State has its own iteration of a Faculty Club, begun just over a decade ago by former Provost Dr. Paul Gaston. He initiated the monthly receptions upon arriving at Kent State in 1999 as an opportunity for faculty of different disciplines to meet in a non-academic setting. Since its inception, colleges and units across the university have sponsored the Faculty Club receptions throughout the academic year.
