Videos will be developed for year two implementation of FlashFolio. Training documents have been developed and will continue to be updated with all system enhancements. These training documents and videos can be accessed through the Training Documents link in the FlashFolio system.

This is a closed system. Files (not including evaluations) can be shared using the Share Electronic Copy function. A training document outlining the steps for faculty to share an electronic copy of their file is located on the Training Documents page which can be accessed through the FlashFolio system.

We are considering the most efficient options for this for the second year of FlashFolio.

The due dates and times are listed for each process once clicking on the Evaluations option from your Dashboard (FlashFolio homepage after FlashLine login).

This is a web browser configuration/preferences issue. FlashFolio is a download system, and documents will all initially download. If you are having viewing issues on a Mac, please contact Kevin Van Bell at kvanbell@kent.edu.

Based upon the previous paper model, evaluations completed by evaluators will not be viewable after they have been completed. It has been advised to all evaluators to save copies of evaluations before submitting.

Folder names for the faculty files are set in the system. Training includes uploading to one folder and stresses importance of naming conventions used for individual files.

Users were instructed in training how to group all other supporting documents under one heading.

This system does not operate with the functionality to view all complete files of all users.
