Honors College Orientation

Welcome, First-Year Honors Students!  

The Honors College would like to invite you and your loved ones to view an online Honors College Orientation.

During Honors College Orientation, we will share the benefits and requirements of Honors College membership, including our Freshman Honors Colloquium (FHC) experience.  

Live Honors College Orientation sessions will occur throughout May via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

• Wednesday, May 15, 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET 

• Thursday, May 16, 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET 

• Sunday, May 19, 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET 

• Monday, May 20, 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET 

Please register for a live session by clicking your preferred date above. All sessions will cover the same information. After you submit your registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email with the link to join the session.  

If you cannot attend a live session, a recording will be posted here in late May. 

After Honors College Orientation, complete your FHC Preference Form here. We will preregister you for FHC before you attend Destination Kent State (DKS). 

When you are on campus for DKS, your agenda will include the opportunity to meet us and your Honors College classmates in person.
