The following academic forms are utilized to pursue various Honors College course and programming options.
The Class Project Agreement form is submitted to create an Honors section of a standard KSU non-Honors course with the approval of the course instructor.
This is an official contract with the Honors College at Kent State University for the purpose of receiving internal Honors credit for completing graduate level coursework (50000+. Cannot be cross-listed with 40000 level). Students may earn up to six total Honors hours for graduate coursework.
With the completion of the Honors College Student Member Agreement Form the student has agreed to fulfill all requirements necessary for continued participation and scholarship eligibility in the Kent Sate University Honors College.
The Individual Honors Work form is submitted to pursue independent study as a form of Honors credit.
The Internship Contract is submitted for students to receive 3 internal Honors hours for completing an internship of at least 150 hours.
The Senior Honors Portfolio form is submitted for students seeking one Honors credit hour through the completion of a reflective portfolio.
The Senior Honors Thesis Proposal Preparation form is submitted for students seeking to register for the 1 or 2 credit-hour thesis proposal preparation during the semester before their senior year.
The Senior Honors Thesis/Project Proposal form is submitted after the successful completion of the preparation semester. The thesis proposal is a formal document that sets forth the parameters of the intended work.
Form declares participating members of the thesis defense committee.
Form is completed and submitted immediately following the oral defense.
