How do I reserve a photo studio in Taylor Hall?
To reserve a photo studio, log into Cheqroom with your FlashLine info to start the reservation process. Students may book no more than 3 hours at a time and no more than 3 spots.

You go to Cheqroom and make sure to login with SSO.

What hours are the Creative Lab and Photo Studios open?
The VCD Creative Lab and Photo Studios are open:
Monday-Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Creative Lab and Photo Studios are not open during Fall, Spring, Summer break, or during holidays when campus is closed.
My student organization needs to use Creative Lab equipment and the Photo Studios. Can I check out equipment and reserve the studios from the Creative Lab?
Student members of official Kent State organizations can only reserve equipment and use the studios if they are enrolled in a VCD course.
I am not a VCD student. Can I use the Creative Lab or any of the technology in the space?
Yes! Non-VCD students can use our large format inkjet printers, laser jet printer, Cricut Cutters, scanners, and are always welcome to use the Creative Lab space for meetings, studying, or working on projects.
