* Kent State will not accept transfer credits from non-regionally accredited schools or trade/vocational diploma programs. As a general rule, schools that offer LPN/EMT/Paramedic/Therapy Assistant programs are not regionally accredited, with the exception of community/state colleges and a small number of private and regional for-profit colleges. Prospective students are encouraged to check Kent State’s Transfer Credit Guide to get an idea of which credits may or may not transfer.
