Biography

Trask Roberts is an Assistant Professor of French and Translation. He received his Ph.D. in French and Francophone Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the faculty at Kent State, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Paris (formerly Paris-Diderot). Dr. Roberts’ work has appeared in Symposium, the Journal of Beckett Studies, Electric Lit, and elsewhere. His essays are also forthcoming in the Journal of Modern Literature and Exemplaria. His primary research areas are 20th-century French literature, translation studies, queer studies, self-translation, and autobiography.
