Welcome to the website of the Kent State University Marching Golden Flashes!

As the largest student organization on campus, the Marching Golden Flashes (also known as the MGF) serves as the most visible musical ambassador of the Athletic Department, the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, and Kent State University. Band membership is open to all Kent students and represents virtually every school on campus. In fact, over 80% of the band consists of students majoring in fields other than music!
