Chip Davis, founder and creator of Mannheim Steamroller, will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of his annual Christmas concert tour, making it the longest running consecutive concert tour in the entertainment industry, with two performances at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on December 18 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Former NASA astronaut and Air Force Colonel Cady Coleman will be featured during the Kent State University at Tuscarawas TuscTalks Distinguished Speaker Series on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Coleman will share her passion for space exploration, the evolution of women in space and the stereotypes she faced as a woman in a spacesuit. Free and open to the public, the event is sponsored by Kent State Tuscarawas and endorsed by the Women’s Success Series.

The Kent State University Tuscarawas community can help the Dover/New Philadelphia Salvation Army reach their goal of raising $125,000 in its 2019 Red Kettle Campaign.

On Fri., Dec. 6, from noon to 8 p.m., Kent State Tuscarawas students, faculty and staff will ring the bell and greet our community neighbors at Buehler’s in Dover.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, the stage adaptation of the highest rated Christmas TV special of all time is coming to the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas on November 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The Kent State University at Tuscarawas Band will present a concert, entitled “Around the World in 80 Minutes,” at 7 p.m. on November 19, 2019 in the Performing Arts Center. Auditorium doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free of charge and open to the public.

Three professional, inspiring, and exceptionally driven women are being featured during the 2019-20 Women’s Success Series at Kent State University at Tuscarawas. Carmel Haueter, Executive Director of Rainbow Connection, kicks off the series on Fri., Nov. 15, followed by Dee Grossman, Executive Director for the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau, on Fri., Feb. 7, 2020, and Sarah DiFazio, a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, on Fri., April 3, 2020. Each session is held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Kent State Tuscarawas.
