#FutureFlashes Instagram Contest Results

Flash Points at the Camera
For several weeks, incoming, first-year students were encouraged to:

1. Follow @KentStateAdmissions on Instagram
2. Post a photo on their Instagram feed showing off their Kent State pride and share in the caption why they chose to commit to Kent State!
3. Tag @KentStateAdmissions in the photo and use the hashtag #FutureFlashes.

One winner was selected every Friday leading up to May 1, National College Decision Day. Winners received a KSU merch package, including a t-shirt, beanie and pair of gloves. Our grand prize winner received a pair of Apple AirPods!

Kent State University would like to thank all incoming students who participated in the #FutureFlashes Instagram Contest. We enjoyed seeing your posts and celebrating your decision to become a Golden Flash with you.

"I chose Kent State because I applied to 14 different colleges and Kent State was the beset option for me. The campus is beautiful and everyone I met on my first visit accepted me with open arms. I love Kent State and everything it stands for, and it's the perfect fit for me!"

"I chose Kent State because of the diversity and good vibes spread across campus. During my last visit there, I met an incredible man named Daniel, who runs the BRIDGES Program during the summer for five weeks that I will be attending. I'm looking forward to being on campus this summer!"

"I chose to commit to Kent State for many reasons. To start off, I like how much it feels like home to me. I love the atmosphere at Kent as everyone I talked with have been so nice. All the guides and students I chatted with convinced me that Kent was the place I wish to stay."
