Paul L. Gaston, IIIKent State University at Trumbull proudly announces Paul L. Gaston, III, Trustees Professor at Kent State University, as the speaker for the 2015 Spring Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony, to be held Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m. in the Classroom Building Auditorium, will feature more than 135 graduate candidates, receiving associate and bachelor's degrees.

Kent State University at Trumbull senior Stacee Stinedurf was one of 10 women recently honored by the Kent State Women’s Center as part of the 2015 Sage Project. 

Per the Women’s Center website, “the Sage Project stems from a mindfulness that as a Women’s Center and as an institution, we should be doing more to highlight the phenomenal female students who are part of Kent State University.

Kent State Trumbull is excited to announce two raffles in conjunction with Dr. Beverly Warren's Presidential Inauguration Week activities, with proceeds to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Cancer wing!

The first raffle is for a Kent State Trumbull gift basket. Tickets for the gift basket are one ticket for $1, or six tickets for $5. The second raffle is for an iPad mini, with tickets priced at $5 each.

Kent State University’s seven Regional Campuses will begin automatically awarding associate degrees to bachelor’s degree-seeking students who have completed all requirements for either an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree.
“They earned it, so we’re awarding the degree,” said Wanda Thomas, associate provost and dean of the Regional College. “Awarding an associate degree as soon as it is earned ensures that a Kent State regional student will have a college degree, even if something happens and they are unable to complete their bachelor’s degree program.”

Kent State University at Trumbull will host a trio of civic-minded fairs for students, faculty, staff, and the community at large, April 21-23.

Students, faculty and staff of Kent State Trumbull will have the opportunity to connect with a number of local non-profits agencies to learn about volunteer and internship opportunities available to them throughout the community at the Spring Volunteer Fair on Tuesday, April 21, 1-3 p.m., in the Classroom Building.
