Yomna Ashraf Aladawy
Biography
I hold an M.A. in Translation from Kent State University, specializing in the English–Arabic language pair. Throughout my studies, I completed an interpreting internship alongside my capstone case study, ultimately graduating with highest honors (4.0 GPA), earning the Outstanding Translation Student Award, and being inducted into the Phi Sigma Iota honors society. Building on a prior postgraduate diploma in interpreting, this experience further deepened my foundation in and love for language pedagogy. And today, I serve as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University in Egypt. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue my Ph.D. while continuing to gain expertise across interpreting, translation, subtitling, and higher education.
