Callbacks for Porthouse Theatre's 2024 season will take place at Kent State University's School of Theatre and Dance. The School of Theatre and Dance is located in the Center for the Performing Arts, 1325 Theatre Drive, Kent, OH 44242.

NUNSENSE
Saturday, February 3
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon: All nuns are called at 10:00 AM. Please see callback material on the Porthouse website: https://www.kent.edu/porthouse/auditions In addition, please be familiar with other roles. The director will be Zooming in and he may want to read you for roles in addition to the ones for which you have been called back.
ANNIE
Saturday, February 3
12:00 p.m.: Annie and all the orphans dance call. Please wear clothes you can dance in. Sneakers are acceptable footwear.
1:00 p.m.: After the dance call, all those called back for Annie and the Orphans will sing. The sides for singing and reading are posted on the website: https://www.kent.edu/porthouse/auditions
1:45 p.m.: Read Annie’s and Warbucks
2:10 p.m.: Sing Warbucks and read additional sides
ANNIE and JESUS CHRSIT SUPERSTAR
Sunday, February 4

10:00 a.m.: Read Mr. Bundles, Officer Ward, Healy, and Drake
10:45 a.m.: Sing Mary for JCS
11:15 a.m.: Sing Caiaphas
11:30 a.m.: Sing Pilate
11:45 a.m.: Dance all those called back for ensemble in JCS and Annie, plus all Apostles, and Lily and Rooster. (This will be a combined dance combo that will serve as assessment for both JCS and ANNIE. Sneakers are acceptable as are dance shoes and female identifying candidates may elect to wear heels).
1:00 p.m.: Sing all those called back for ensemble in ANNIE and JCS plus all Apostles and NYC soloists. Bring your book and sing your best 16. We are NOT using the ensemble music for ANNIE as indicated on the website. If you are called back to sing as the NYC soloist—that is what you should sing during this call.
2:00 p.m.: Sing Peter
2:30 p.m.: Sing Simon
3:00 p.m.: Sing Annas
3:20 p.m.: Sing and read Lily and Rooster
3:45 p.m.: Sing Jesus
4:20 p.m.: Sing Judas
