Year 3
In year three, work on the dissertation, with guidance from the faculty advisor, is started. The length of the dissertation is variable depending on individual student needs. When the dissertation is completed, it is defended to a committee of faculty researchers within and outside of the College of Nursing. The Ph.D. in Nursing is conferred after successful defense of the dissertation.
